I have two sites with similar themes - http://twinowls.net and http://greensciencepolicy.org
They work okay in IE7 but now I "upgraded" to IE8 and the navigation has big gaps in between each menu item.

Any ideas on why this would have happened or how I could fix it?

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Apryle,

You may find a designer in here willing to help you debug, but this will have nothing to do with Silverstripe. It is most likely a CSS and XHTML quirk that are so common with IE8.

You may get quicker response over on Sitepoint or a Design related forum.

Aaron.
