I'm using SilverStripe as the preferred CMS for all my clients, but there is one thing that I'm seriously looking for (and haven't been able to find in SilverStripe yet). I'm looking for the following:

- Users can register by using a Frontend form
- By doing so, users can create their own profile (name, password, but also additional details, defined by developer) => Extended profile?
- Users can edit/delete their profile using a Frontend form
- Public profiles (checkbox in Frontend form) can be viewed by other users and public visitors of the website

is this something that can be done by SilverStripe? If so, what would be the best approach? Any comments or feedback is most welcome, many thanks in advance!

Have a look at the forum module - all of this functionality is available there, so you should be able to pick out the bits you want.

Thanks Hamish, I've never used the forum module before, but I'll certainly have a look at it!

Additional question: does anyone has any experience with the Userpage module that has been released last month: http://www.silverstripe.org/userpage-module/
