I saw a post a few days back make reference to the fact that SS2.4 would have functionality similar to Short Codes in Wordpress. Is there anywhere I can look to get additional information on it? It is a very intriguing concept, and I can think up many uses for it to help abstract "messy" tasks away from the user in the Content WYSWIG Editor.

Thanks -

Hi Chango,

In 2.4 there now is a ShortcodeParser (in sapphire/parsers/) and a ShortcodeParserTest (in sapphire/tests/), that might give you some clues? I don't know if there's other documentation available just yet...
