Hi,

I am suddenly getting this error message Fatal error: Call to undefined method HttpRequest::addHeader() in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/sapphire/core/control/Director.php on line 115 Last night everything was fine this morning I have lost 2 sites to the message. HostGator say nothing has changed on there end and its down to the script. I know from looking arround on the forum that its because of class name violation. When I try to rename the instances of httpRequest and HttpResponse in the 'core' folder I then get a error message telling me that it cannot find the class name or simlar.

Any suggestions apart from ripping Hostgators head off!

Cheers
Chris

I'm with HostGator too and was getting the same error at about 2 or 3 o'clock this morning (UTC-6).

When I got around to trouble shooting it at about 11 or 12 it was working again so I don't have any idea of what went wrong. I'm interesting in finding out what the ultimate cause was though.

I noticed that when I did a phpinfo() that they had enabled the HTTP extension (which they denied) and they wouldnt disable it again and suggestion I log a fault with the main support guys as the live chat had ran out of ideas, about an hr after doing that it all came back up and I got a email saying that they had closed the fault due to it all working... When I checked the phpinfo again the HTTP extension had been disabled...

Make what you want of that...

Hostgator denied that they had made any changes to PHP overnight.....
