Using IE8 Windows XP SP3.

I've placed an image in a web page. I click the right mouse button on the image and select Insert/edit image, I make changes to the attributes and everything looks fine in the editor. After doing so, I save the web page and the image attributes are not saved and the image is back to where it was before I added the attributes.

If I add the attributes in source view everything works. But this is not a solution as non technical people need to be able to edit the attributes in the dialog and have them stick when saving the file.

Is this a known bug. Is there anything I can do to correct this? I'm testing SilverStripe for use at work and moving to anotehr browser is not an answer, so please do not mention that. I need to stay with IE 8.
