A client has contacted me today with an intention of having a small, very small online store integrated into his SS site, now i have used ecommerce before, but im thinking that for one product it would be too much.

The store will only accept paypal payments and the product will have variations, ie colour and size. Anybody done anything similar for a One product online web page with SS and if so what did you use?.. the ecommerce module or something totally different?
Thanks in advance

I would still stick with the ecommerce (or silvercart.org) solution - even if for just one product.

I can see where your coming from, several months ago when i first met the client to discuss his project the intention was to have ecommerce in their as a full blown cart selling all his line of products to the UK market, anyway Spain being Spain my client couldnt find a reliable carrier to get his products shipped over to the UK (lots get damaged in Spanish postals for some reason), so the idea of the cart was scrapped, however now he has franchised one of his products to two UK based companies who will manufacture and ship.

So yeah, i think your right.. then if he has more products to do similar with then the only thing to do is to add them via the cms, without breaking into code.. again..

thanks swaiba appreciated input from you..
