I installed ss. I copied blackcandy theme folder and renamed this folder epevents. I changed 1 item in layout.css, which was the background from the striped image to green. I uploaded epevents to the themes directory.

I went to mysite and changed the config file to say

 SSViewer::set_theme('epevents');

The project variable is set to $project = 'mysite';

The site is http://estesparkeventplanners.com/silverstripe-v2.2.3/ as you can see, if you view the source, the blackcandy theme is still being pulled in, despite the set_theme being set to epevents.

So I tried making the css changes to blackcandy theme and overwriting the layout.css file to have a red background color. As you can see, it is definitely not showing up red.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! ~Apryle

Nevermind. Operator error. My filezilla got accidentally set to "skip" rather than "overwrite" existing files, so nothing was being overwritten.
