I asked this question previously, am I right in thinking that the latter part of this tutorial isn't compatible with version 2.3? I have tried it several times and no matter where I add HomePage.php I have no new page type option in the admin panel...

Are you making sure you run /dev/build before opening up the CMS? In 2.3 /dev/build replaces /db/build?flush=1, although I THINK /db/build still works(?).

Otherwise it should still work in 2.3 as far as I know.

Post your code? Also, check the permissions on your files and make sure they're readable.
