Hi all,

I was just wondering what databases are supported by silverstripe these days? The documentation says Mysql only, but I have seen some archived forum posts that imply that there may be greater support than this.

Is this the case?

Many thanks,

Mo

Officially, as of now, only MySQL. Unofficially, you might be able to get PostGreSQL working (see the postgres module), and MSSQL support is coming.

Hopefully we'll see these officially released for 2.4

Cool! Just out of curiosity, has SQLite support ever been considered?

Hi Mo,

there is a module for SQLite now: http://www.silverstripe.org/sqlite-database/

It requires SilverStripe 2.4. Check it out. I'd appreciate any feedback.

Cheers

Andy
