Sorry for the generic title, wasn't quite sure how to word it.

Basically I am just looking for some guidence from the vets on how to get started on a little project.

A mate is part of a band, and wants a little online database to organise their gigs.

So the datastructure will look like this:

Gig

  • Name
  • Date
  • Time
  • Location

A gig can have many
Songs

  • Name
  • Artist
  • Location

A song has many
SongFiles

  • Name
  • File

(ie: the mp3, chord sheets, lyrics)

When someone logs in, they are able to see all the upcoming gigs, and view the songs they're going to be playing and grab the chord sheets. Or if they are practicing, they can go to a list of all the songs, and pick out a certain one and grab the chord sheet or whatever.

I looked through the wiki and at tutorial 5 but as what I'm trying to do is a bit different to what is there, I'm a bit confused as to how to layout all the classes and the getCMSFields/getCMSFields_forpopup.

Can anyone give me a clue as to how to take my first steps?

Thanks in advance!
