Hi All,

Random, not Silverstripe question, but all my open source Silverstripe modules are available on GitHub, I have noticed recently that people have left issues on them, but I do not get any notification from GitHub that this has happened.

Has anyone else had issues with this.

It is annoying as I try and respond quickly to any issues that come into my inbox, but I obviously don't check the issues on all my modules very regularly.

Any help much appreciated!

Many thanks,

Mo

Hi Willr,

I have already been through there (should have mentioned that). I can only see email responses for "participating" and "watching". I assume that any project I have started and commit to is participating, but I don't seem to receive any emails for new issues.

I don't really want to turn on emails for watched repo's as that will spam my inbox!

Cheers,

Mo

From: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18791627/missing-notifications-on-github/24979113#24979113

I was having the same problem and believe it or not the following is what finally resolved it for me:

Checking both the "[x] Email" AND "[x] Web" options in the GitHub Notifications center of my GitHub Account Settings:

1. Login to your GitHub account.
2. Click the Account Settings icon on the top right.
3. Click the Notifications center category in the left column.
4. Make sure BOTH the "Email" AND "Web" options are checked.
5. Make sure the correct email address set to receive notifications.

In my case, I only had "Email" checked, but not "Web" (since I prefer doing everything via email rather than via crappy web page interfaces), and was never receiving any Email notifications (even though I had the "Email" option checked!).

But as soon as I checked the "Web" option as well (so that BOTH options were checked), VOILA! I began receiving my email notifications again.

Go figure.

Hi anonymous,

I had web and email turned on for participating, but not watching.

I have turned them on for watching as well, but I imagine this is going to get quite annoying as I watch a lot of repo's.

Let's see...
