Hi, I'm a Drupal refugee.

Imagine managing 100 silverstripe websites together. Update code, backups, restores. Being the "ISP" interface for clients websites.

Drupal has an "Aegir" project that "helps you maintain your Drupal sites. It does this by providing a simple hosting front end for your entire network of sites. To deploy a new site you simply have to create a new Site node. To backup or upgrade sites, you simply manage your site nodes as you would any other node."

So, its a web-based hosting management platform.

Has this been built yet for Silverstripe? How would you go about it? Is there a command-line interface for admin tasks?

Thanks,

Mike

Hey Michael,

Not yet, however there is going to a 'module manager' at some point, and there is a command line interface (Sake) that helps too.
