ok i managed to get a nice new copy of the silverstripe file freshly unzipped to work with, but still getting the php 5 is required thing with a page of code, I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking for error messages in all of this, but this is what comes up on the page:

I know I had this problem with the first attempt at installing SS and the fix was something really simple and easy but I can't find it anywhere now, been searching for about 5 hours now ....
