Hi all

Uploaded SS tar.gz file, unpacked into SS directory in my public_html dir. Nothing in that dir other than the SS tar.gz file and the directory that I unpacked into. When accessed the domain got an access denied message (not surprising as my ISP will only allow access to an index file I think.

So moved all SS files and directories to the public_html dir, but going to both www.mysite address and the www.mysite/index.php produces a no access message.

Not sure where the problem is. Which is the correct directory for the SS files? If it is the SS directory then how is the home page (index.php) accessed by the public?

Have tried putting a phpinfo file into the public_html dir and this runs ok and confirms that PHP Version 5.2.13 is running.

Please help.

Pete

Maybe you need to check you .htaccess file? Do a search on the forum. There should be lot’s of info on it.

Also, does another (non-SS) index.php file load properly in a blank directory?

That should probably get you started.
