Hi,

I'd just like to find out which SilverStripe files are/can be modified by SilverStripe?

I know that the following are:

  • INSTALLDIR/.htaccess
  • INSTALLDIR/mysite/_config.php

Are there any others?

Thanks very much.
VWD.

The assets folder and its subfolders. After installation only the assets folder and its subfolders need to be writable.

And the temp folder will be modified (but you won't need to worry about those most of the time) will either be in /tmp/, WINDOWS/temp/ or your own silverstripe-cache folder.

Thank you Willr & simon_w for your replies.

That helps.
