Help, I have a site that was running on an old box running WAMP and we have installed a new server windows 2008 R2, what the web developer suggested to work with PHP.
We have the site moved over and running fine, but when we try to upload images we get a "Sorry, there was a problem with handling your request." result. The developer says it a permission problem with the server and we have to figure it out.
Anybody have any idea what I need to do?
I tried setting the IIS_IUSRS group to have modify rights on the assests folder but no change.

You could try making the directory writable by all users (account USERS in windows I think). That is not really ideal, as you are making it easier for anyone to put files on your server, but it should at least give you an idea of if that is the problem.
