Hi everyone,

Checked out latest silverstripe using SVN per instructions at http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=download

svn checkout http://svn.silverstripe.com/open/phpinstaller/trunk/ SilverStripeSite

Is that SVN URL still right?

Appears to have checked out correctly but at end reports:

U SilverStripeSite/sapphire
svn: Invalid svn:externals property on 'SilverStripeSite/sapphire/thirdparty': target involves '.' or '..' or is an absolute path

Can anyone confirm whether this is an issue or can I safely ignore this?

Thanks

~ Rodney

Are you running svn 1.6 binaries? currently the SS repo is on svn 1.5 (or it could be the other way around) and I believe 1.6 is not 100% backwards compatible

i was also getting the error "svn: Invalid svn:externals property on 'SilverStripeSite/sapphire/thirdparty': target involves '.' or '..' or is an absolute path", when checking out http://svn.silverstripe.com/open/modules/sapphire/trunk with my Tortoise SVN 1.4.3 Client;

but after updating my Tortoise SVN Client to the newest version 1.6.5 this problem was resolved;

note: if you update your Tortoise SVN Client, deinstall the old version before, and then install the new one; because i got an error that the libapr_tsvn.dll couldn´t be found after updating on my Windows Vista Ultimate OS;
