after installing Silverstripe (latest version to date) I entered the CMS admin panel and after editing the content of the "home" page tried to save and publish. the result was a Javascript parse error. this happens on all pages and when I try to add a new page.
a screenshot of the picture is avaliable at: http://novagames.net76.net/SS%20JRE%20Parse%20Error.png

I can't see the screenshot of the error.

have you made any changes to core files?

Also, I found issue when I uploaded some files as ASCII so switched my FTP client to only use binary mode and this sorted out a few errors on a bunch of stuff.

Anyway, send the screenshot again if that doesn't work.
