Has anyone managed to install SilverStripe on NearlyFreeSpeech?

I am unable to. First I have to change all instances of HTTPResponse to SSHTTPResponse (b/c it's already defined in PECL), but after I do that and am ready to install the installer just hangs. I'll have the install.php page loaded, and it says everything looks fine (all green) but when I hit the install button, it quickly refreshes and doesn't install. No errors, no clues, nothing. Something must be going wrong but SilverStripe isn't' telling me what it is.

Any ideas?
