Well... I have the book, but the postman managed to snap it almost in half when shoving it through my mailbox. I guess I'll be ordering another one once they've paid for the damages.

I bought the book. With the online tutorials, the book does a well job complementing (filling in the holes) to get a great understanding of how to build a SilverStripe application.

Finished the book and reviewed it @ Amazon..

It was a good read , nice that it also contains some new tricks for me.. ;)

I have to say the book absolutely excellent. I was expecting to find the English version littered with translation oddities, nut it's not. It reminds me of the old Wrox style writing - accurate, pleasant to read, good for reference, and complete. I would well recommend it to any developer.
