I took the code from the template "hairdresser" to use the drop down menu. My template consists of a top, left side, middle and right side, footer. The drop down menu is in the left side. It looks fine in IE, but when I view it in Chrome or Firefox, there is a big gap between my drop down menu and the next button. My website is not live yet.
Any ideas?

Yeah, that gap is nasty.

I assume that's a CSS issue (maybe margin or padding needs to be zeroed out on the UL's or LI's). I would use FF's Firebug or Safari's Web Inspector to troubleshoot. I recommend coding for Safari & FF, then go fix stuff in The Blue E.

If you can put the site up on a test server, I can take a look.

I downloaded Firebug and was able to fix my navigation code, Thanks!
It was some funky code that I had in there that was throwing it off.

Hi,
I wonder if someone could help, please. I'm having trouble with a drop down menu; it works fine in IE, but appears in a different position in Chrome and Firefox. If I alter the positioning, then it works fine in Chrome and FF, but not it IE.
I've tried using Firebug to sort it out, and also the validator, but hasn't helped. I've also been through the HTML and the CSS with a fine-toothed comb, but just cannot seem to find the solution. I'd be so grateful for any help.
Here's the link to the page:

and the CSS link is....

www.ambersupplies.co.uk/retail.css

I'd be really grateful for any help at all.

Thanks,
Graham
