Hello everybody,

I am using v2.3.4 and encountered a strange behaviour in the admin section.
When I log in as administrator in the site content area I can select the language at the left side just above the sitetree (I guess you know where it is located). When I log in as a less privileged user the select box is gone and instead of it there is just a simple text displaying the current language but no option to select another. On the contrary that user can access the translate tab.
Am I missing some rights here or is this a bug? The "less privileged" user has administrative rights for Site Content. That issue can be replicated very easy!

Greetings and thanks in advance,
Rainer

Translatable permissions will be improved in the upcoming 2.4 release, both with limiting to "allowed localed" through _config.php, and certain groups. I think the template logic will automatically hide the dropdown if the current cms user doesnt have permissions to translate into any language.
