Add search functionality to complextablefield Link to this post

I have this simple subscribe form on one of my site, and in the backend I have created a report section using complextablefield, so that the client may export those subscriber details into a csv. However it would be nice to add in a search functionality which they could use to performance export only on these returned search results.

I did search this forum for answer, there were few posts discussing this issue, but none of them gives definite answer. I did have a look at the MemberTableField.php, no luck in producing one of my own class. could someone help me out? Cheers
