Is it possible to change the colors and text key of the Site Content and Structure sitetree?

I have a custom setting in the behavior tab that allows me to either have the page appear in a top menu bar (by checking Show in Menus) or in a left menu column (by checking a custom field Show in Left Menu). It's confusing my client because the sitetree shows that the left menu column pages are "hidden" according to the key.

I'm looking to revise the text that the key shows so that it shows "New, deleted, changed, hidden, top menu, left menu".
