Hi all,

I am administering a site where coaches are using the cms to manage profiles about each of their pupils, but I only want each coach to have the ability to add, edit or remove his own pupils and not other coaches or other coaches' pupils.

The basic permissions only seem to allow either access to the security tab or not, meaning that anyone granted access can get at all other users apart from administrators, so I am looking for a way to limit this access. (I have tried putting groups in an appropriate heirarchy, as this post from a while back seems to suggest that you can control security group access this way, but it doesn't do what I want in the CMS and it gives pupils permissions that I don't want them to have as they are inherited from the parent group - I guess the post is talking about checking against group membership in front end pages.)

Any help much appreciated as always.
