Reordering Menu - DESC

Hi Guys,
I am trying to put pages in Descending order in Menu(2). Currently I have to drag and drop the pages in the CMS. I have tried several ways to achieve this with no success. for example,
static $default_sort = "Created DESC";
In Page.php, but no Luck.
Can anyone help
