Custom DataObject CMS editor interface

Hi all,
I'm stuck with this for a while now, I hope you can help me. What I wish to do, is create my own layout for some DataObject editform in the CMS, but I just can't find the proper way of doing this. As far as I understand, it must be some kind of template overriding, but put simply, I don't know which template to override.
