Can someone explain how I might modify the backend to reflect the permission assigned to the user logging in. My site needs multiple level of login users. Some will be allowed to edit some pages, some will be able to edit other pages. In the administration's page selection menu, I don't want authors to see the content of pages that are not assigned to their group for editing.

Currently with permissions set, those that are logged in are only permitted to edit content assigned to their group, but, they see all the other pages listed in pages selection menu. They can click the pages, outside of their group and it does display ... even though they can not edit those pages.
