Publish access for a spesific Group

Hi,
I know this issue was discussed before but there is not a working solution about customizing the cms publish authorization in only one group.
For example i want to narrow rights for the editors group with editing. I don't want them to publish. Is it possible to make it? How? I saw and tried the cms workflow module but it seems it's not working so any ideas would be great.

I have tried cms workflow, and it seems to do exactly what you need, is there maybe a conflict between that modual and your existing code?
