TableField adding/copying rows on 'save' till out of memory

I've had this bug a few months ago, and today again and it pretty much makes tablefields hardly usable:
it seems that tablefields keep copying old rows / adding blank new ones in an exponential way while doing a save'n publish - and eventually leading to an out of memory error.
Anyone else had this?
