Two new user queries

I am new to using SilverStripe and have two queries:
1) Is it possible/permissible to rebrand SilverStripe as part of a site design, so that the SilverStripe logos are replaced by the web-designers'?
2) Is it possible to restrict functionality within the CMS to prevent end-users from creating pages, but still leave them with the functionality to edit existing pages?

1.) Yep, there are even API tools to do this:

2.) Not straight from the CMS 'out of the box'. Some coding required.
