CWP Basic Recipe 1.0.2 released Link to this post

    Kia ora,

Version 1.0.2 of the CWP Basic Recipe has been released on 30/01/2014.

With that, version 1.0.1 has been marked to become unsupported on 30/07/2015 (in eighteen months from today).

When do you need to perform this upgrade?

There is no deadline for this upgrade, though please note the date above for when the version is no longer supported.

If your current version is becoming unsupported you will need to schedule an upgrade. The list of releases and when they will become unsupported is available here - CWP Versions and Support Deadlines.

Information to help manage upgrades is here.

    What is in release 1.0.2?

This release tracks the Framework release 3.1.2 and fixes some module bugs. The highlights are:

    - Several bugs affecting subsites were fixed. Any site using subsites is strongly recommended to upgrade
    - Several bugs affecting managing images and videos in the admin area were fixed.
    - Improvements were made to feedback provided to the content administrator in the admin area.

See SilverStripe Framework 3.1.2 changelog for the list of core changes.

CWPBUGs fixed, as referenced in specific Service Desk tickets:

CWPBUG-17 - Can't embed youTube or Vimeo assets
    CWPBUG-26 - IE8 unsaved modifications dialog

CWPBUG-104 - Move to using the silverstripe-australia/versionedfiles module in recipe
CWPBUG-106 - Security updates to Solr module
CWPBUG-111 - Registry + VersionFeeds module: View import history has a non-allowed action.

CWPBUG-115 - Issue with the carousel's "Add item" on subsite.
CWPBUG-116 - New failing tests in modules
    CWPBUG-117 - Subsite cross-talk reported

The changelogs can always be found here.
