HasMany CTF - paging - checkboxes

Hi All,
Not sure if there is something I have done incorrectly with the HasManyCTF, but out of curiosity does it normally remember checkbox values when paging or do you need to save prior to paging. At the moment if I check some boxes and then click a paging link it doesnt seem to store those previously selected choices. Would like to know if this normal or If i need to look into my code.
