_Live tables not updating if field is set to empty

Hi.
If a field has data in it and you delete that data in it and hit save and publish it updates the "normal" table, lets say Page but the Page_Live table is not updated.
Which means that if i do a DataObject::get_one( 'Page' ); it will get the data from Page_Live which still has the old data in it which is very wrong.
Help!!
