Light weight Database Manager for SilversStripe 2.4

This module provides a control panel to manage the database that drives your SilverStripe installation. DBPlumber provides basic phpMyAdmin features and even works with SQLite, Postgres and SQL Server.

Features:

• Manage your database conveniently through the CMS
• Conveniently INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE records and TRUNCATE and DROP tables
• Browse tables with pagination and sorting
• Export one, multiple or all tables to SQL and import your backups or execute your custom SQL files (supports Zlib compression)
• Export one, multiple or all tables to Open Office Spreadsheet (MS Excel und OpenOffice Calc compatible)
• Experimental support for cross adapter database migration
• Check the database schema and table structure
• Enter and run any SQL command
• List or remove tables and columns that are no longer needed
• Access is limited to ADMINs and can be further restricted by IP or environment type
• Works with all supported database adapters: MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres and SQLite.

Since DBPlumber uses the SilverStripe database connection you don't have to bother about it's setup and you can use exactly the same SQL syntax you would use in your code, no need to rewrite your commands like with phpMyAdmin or SQL Server Management Studio.

This module is designed for developers and not for content authors. By manually changing records or the db schema through DBPlumber you can easily break your SilverStripe installation. That is why DBPlumber requires ADMIN rights. Use DBPlumber only if you know what you are doing. Use it carefully and at your own risk!
