compile ffmpeg

In my linux distribution is no ffmpeg. I want to compile it. Which flags for compiling are needed and make sense for the work with the ss modules? Any suggestions?

Hi, George,
Good idea! If you look in your ffmpeg_log.txt in code/flv, you'll see a list of all the commands that have been run by FFMPEG. That should give you an idea of the flags that are needed. If that file is empty or non-existent, make sure it's writable by Apache and upload some movies to get some records in there.
