i reckon this is similar to my problem here http://silverstripe.org/dataobjectmanager-module-forum/show/292307#post292307
im on PC, client is also on PC, upload stops at "Processing..." and no errors appear. File size if of no importance, as the file is 4KB.
Any ideas how to solve?

Hi,
I have the same problem. The image upload stops at processing.
I've try 2 kind of patch, but doesn't work.
I have an ubuntu 10.04 server, with SS 2.4.1. Assets folder is 777... -

You should switch to Uploadify http://www.leftandmain.com/silverstripe-modules/2010/08/26/uploadify/
SWFUpload has gotten too buggy and insecure.
