** 2.4 Compatibility Patch is in **

15 March 2010 at 5:31am
Hey, everyone,
Just checked in the 2.4 patch. Since almost all of the updates were related to pathing (e.g. the legacy "jsparty" urls), I don't see any reason why DOM will not continue to be backward compatible with 2.3. If they are not compatible, I'll create a new branch, so I could use some testers. Anyone? Please post your results here, and remember to include browser, SS version, etc. so we can squash any bugs quickly. Thanks!

I'm trying to use an ImageField in DOM and the filestore dropdown is empty. I'm going to investigate further to see if this is a problem with the upgrade.SS version: 2.3.6Screen shot: http://www.betterbrief.co.uk/clips/dclips_50195.pngScratch that, I had recently reset the DB and hadn't updated the Files tables!

Hi UncleCheese,
does the new patch support nested dataobjects? I tink I read something about the support for this in SilverStripe 2.4.. Perhaps there are any examples?

Ok, Uncy, I found a bug this time.
SS ver: 2.3.6.
Using DatePickerField or CalendarDateField in the popup doesn't work with revision 376 but does with 375.

Nested DOMs work fine in my testing.
