Adding new images results in a blank frontend page

Hiya.
Perhaps you could help.
When ever my customer adds a new image to an existing image gallery, the resulting page in the front-end will no longer load (just remains blank).
The image seems to be uploaded in the back-end successfully and thumbnails have been created. It can be viewed and detailes updated, however, when the front-end page is viewed, it breaks and will not show the page.
I get this in the server log:
Out of memory (allocated 36438016) (tried to allocate 7096 bytes) in /home/sites/ailifoto.co.uk/public_html/sapphire/filesystem/GD.php on line 24, referer: http://www.ailifoto.co.uk/contact/And it's similar to this thread but not the same:

Can anyone please help with this?
