DataObjectManager 2.3 drag and drop issue

I think this has been posted before but didn't find any resolution to the problem.
When having e.g. ImageDataObjectManager and a DataObjectManager the sorting no longer works. When removing one of them sorting works again. Seems like a strange issue and can't figure out what it is.
Not sure what revision I am currently using, but pretty sure its the latest from the 2.3 branch.
