Adding a download link to image in gallery

Hi there,
I'm afraid I'm no silverstripe master so I am hoping you can help me.
I have a client that needs a download link on the images in the gallery, so viewers can click to download the full size image - is this possible to achieve?
If so could you suggest how to do this.
