How to display uploaded objects on a cms page?

I'm new to Silverstripe and have the dataobject_manager to upload pdf files.
But I want to display these pdf's on a CMS page, but do not know where to begin.
Basically it is an archive of newsletters for a school, that parents can download.
I eagerly look forward to hearing from someone to point me in the right direction.
