Updating DataObjectManager

I have an old version of DOM on a site and would like to update it to the current version to get the SWFUpload functionality on the Files & Images tab of the CMS.
I deleted the old swfupload and dataobject_manager folders, replaced them with new versions, ran /dev/build - but its not updating the Files & Images bit.
Any ideas?

Make sure in the dataobject_manager/_config.php that you have allow_asset_override(true);
