DataObjectManager View Permissions

I noticed that the DataObjectManager has only edit and delete actions available. The result of this is that a member that does not have edit permissions on the DataObject itself is still presented with a Save button when viewing the object in DataObjectManager. This is because I have to allow edit permissions in order for the member to view the Object. Is there a way to either add a view action or have the DataObjectManager enforce the permission as set in the DataObject itself?
