I have just installed image gallery (and related modules).
I have created a new album (and deleted Default Album - perhaps that was a mistake?)
When I go to upload files I can navigate to a folder with many png files in it - they are all shown, with thumbnails - but none of them are selectable.

I am running on MAC OSX 10.6.1, MAMP 1.8.2 - PHP 5.2.10 and Silverstripe 2.3.3.
I have modules dataobject_manager r309, swfupload r271 and image_gallery r292.

The image files are all named filename.png, were fiddled with on windows, but can be viewed correctly on the mac - and their thumbnails look correct too. Files are all under 1Mb. Hmmm... perhaps there is a permissions issue.

Are there other things I should look for?
Many thanks,

Anita

There was a time when ImageDataObjectManager excluded PNG files because the Silverstripe GD class either could not resample them or was not resampling them properly. That has since changed, and the newest revision of DataObjectManager allows PNG files.

Thanks - that seems to be the problem. I created a jpg and can select and upload it.
I'll get a later version of DataObjectManager.

Oops .. I think I'll investigate a bit more before I put this next query in.
