Best way to import external Product-Data

26 June 2009 at 7:50pm
Hello all
I never used the E-Commerce Module before, but I'm currently looking for a way to implement a simple online-shop in SilverStripe.
The problem is, that all the Product Data (Prices, Product Number, Images) will be supplied by an external system (about 300 items). What would you do in such a case? Would you try to import all the Data into SiteTree Objects?
Or is there a way to have Products in the E-Commerce Module that aren't in the SiteTree?Any pointers would be most welcome.
Thanks. -
