How To Calculate Weight x Price With Product?

With the same customer just found out that he do not like ecommerce out-of-the-box product pricing model which just show the price. With his halal meat products he need to have a way in which he input in the CMS how many pounds the meat is and cost per pound and then the system automaticaly calculate the total price of the meat. Also on the product page on the website show how many pounds the meat is and cost per pound and the final price of the meat.
I know that an individual may edit that type of stuff at ecommerce/code/Product.php but I dont know EXACTLY how. I am great at web / graphic design but my PHP skills is very minimal so please state things in a way in which I may understand. Can anyone please help?

...again I haven't got shipping working but i think you need WeightShippingModifier which already exists
