I'm trying to get started with e-commerce, and have a few questions,

I'd like to grab the latest stable release, but i've seen several repositories for the e-commerce module. I'm not sure which one to grab.

I've read that e-commerce module is dependent on the payment module. is http://www.silverstripe.org/payment-module/ the correct place to download a compatible version, or do i need a newer version in svn somewhere?

I'd like to integrate paypal, starting off with website payments standard, but upgrade to website payment pro in the future. are both of these supported through the e-commerce module?

I am also trying to pay attention to PCI Compliance. my understanding is that i dont need to worry about it with payments standard because everything takes place on paypals servers, however payment pro would need more attention. the e-commerce module accepts shipping information though, and i am wondering if this would require PCI compliance of the e-commerce module?

any guidance would be wonderful.
thanks in advance,
-Chris

Hi Chris,

It would be great if you can try the release candidate, as mentioned here:
http://silverstripe.org/e-commerce-module-forum/show/14933

Use Payment 0.3 with SilverStripe 2.4.3

regards,
Jeremy

Thanks Jeremy, I'll give it a try.
Can you tell me if it is compatible with both, paypal website payments standard and pro?
