Catalogue Help

I'm trying to use the ecommerce module plainly to display the stock in a retail outlet. I have added a product but it doesn't appear in a listing catalogue form with a thumbnail under it's parent category. I can browse to it's full uri and the product is viewable.
Am I missing something obvious?

If u use zero price add in your mysite/config ProductGroup::set_must_have_price(false);
Then it also shows the product with no price entered
