FoxyCart & inventory control

Hi, I'm thinking of creating a site in which :
- SS would handle the product catalogue
- foxy cart would handle the e-commerce part (cart, checkout, notifications...)I see there's a "FoxyCart inventory module" for ModX that makes inventory decrease every time a product is purchased.
Has anybody got an idea of the way to do this with SilverStripe ?

Essentially you'd be using FoxyCart's XML datafeed to alter your inventory whenever a order is completed.
